3 Ways To Improve Your Sleep!

It is recommended that the average adult needs at least 7 hours of sleep to wake up feeling refreshed and improve their health/well-being.

1) Minimize your screen time! Electronic devices emit blue light which may interfere with your circadian rhythm, an internal clock in our body that regulates our sleep cycle.

2) Start a routine or schedule your sleep. Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day will help your body reinforce your sleep cycle. You can read a book or write in your journal and plan for the next day!

3) Exercising will improve the quality of your sleep. Stress and anxiety are one of the common causes of insomnia. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins which are feel-good chemicals that will reduce stress and anxiety.

Sleeping provides many benefits such as improving the immune system, cognitive functions, mood, memory, and prevent cardiovascular diseases.

On June 7th, 2021, The FDA approved a new drug called (Aduhelm) used to combat neurodegenerative diseases. Aduhelm is a monthly recurring treatment, it will be administered directly into the patient's veins, and will help slow cognitive decline.
