Nothing shines brighter than teamwork! 🫧🦽☀️

Today, our residents and staff teamed up for a fun “Wheelchair Car Wash,” giving our wheels a little extra sparkle while sharing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. It’s amazing how even the simplest activities can bring everyone together and create lasting memories.

A clean ride, happy hearts, and another wonderful day with our amazing residents! 💙✨

🚗❌ Car wash… 🦽✅ Wheelchair wash!

Our residents and staff decided it was time to give our “rides” the VIP treatment! Buckets, bubbles, smiles, and a whole lot of laughter made for the perfect Wheelchair Car Wash. Safe to say these wheels are looking squeaky clean and ready to roll! 🫧😄

This Nurses Week, we are proud to recognize Abbigail Crapps, LPN for her compassion, dedication, and heart for long-term care nursing.

Abbigail became an LPN in 2018 after attending Coastal Pines Technical College. She shared that her mother, who is also a nurse, inspired her to pursue a career in nursing and caring for others.

Abbigail chose long-term care because the residents truly pull at her heartstrings, and she finds fulfillment in building meaningful connections while caring for those who depend on her every day.

When asked what advice she would give to new nurses, Abbigail said:

“Hang in there because there is always a reward, even if it’s simply someone recognizing your work.”

Outside of nursing, Abbigail is also a proud mom to three boys, who keep her busy and bring joy to her life.

Abbigail, thank you for the compassion, dedication, and care you provide to our residents each day. Happy Nurses Week! We are grateful to have you as part of the Oxley Park family. 💙

This Nurses Week, we are proud to recognize Kelly Butler, RN for her many years of dedication, compassion, and commitment to caring for others.

Kelly has been a nurse since 1993, beginning her career as an LPN before earning her RN degree in 1997 from Middle Georgia State University.

Kelly shared that her passion for nursing began through her love of caring for people and was further inspired by helping care for a special needs individual. That experience helped shape her calling to become a nurse and dedicate her life to serving others.

One of the things Kelly enjoys most about nursing is getting to know people from all different backgrounds and helping them improve through compassionate care and support.

When asked what advice she would give to new nurses, Kelly said:

“Learn all you can from experienced nurses because they have a wealth of knowledge.”

Kelly, thank you for the kindness, wisdom, and care you bring to nursing every day. Happy Nurses Week! We are grateful to have you as part of the Oxley Park family. 💙
