National Nurses Week is celebrated each year from May 6–12 and honors the incredible nurses who care for others with compassion, dedication, and heart every single day. 💙

The week ends on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, known as the founder of modern nursing and “The Lady with the Lamp.” Her legacy of compassionate patient care continues to inspire nurses around the world today. 💙

As a nurse-owned and operated assisted living facility, Country Life Assisted Living understands firsthand the importance of advocacy, dignity, compassion, and quality care for our residents and families. 💙

This week, we especially want to thank all of the nurses who help care for our residents alongside us, including hospice nurses, home health nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, caregivers, and healthcare teams who provide comfort and healing every day. 💙

We also want to recognize the many wonderful nurses & caregivers who have called Country Life home over the years!! 💙

We are honored to have cared for residents who dedicated their own lives to serving others through nursing. Their compassion and legacy continue to inspire us daily. 💙
