Happy National Boss’s Day to the two masterminds behind our practice! Ashley and Eric have led this team with the mindset of serving their community and the people in it. Coming from several years of experience in in-patient mental health hospitals, working with students in the school system, and life experiences; Eric and Ashley started their practice to use those experiences to serve in an even broader area.

They use their skills to not only help their clients, but to also teach and educate student interns along with helping LPC-Associates as well. With Ashley and Eric’s leadership, this team is able to pursue their individual dreams, and to provide the utmost care for our amazing clients and community! Thank you Eric and Ashley for all you do for your clients and our team!!

✨ NEW FACE AT NAVIGATE! ✨

We have another wonderful addition to the Navigate family, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce her!

Please help us welcome April Dudynski, LPC, to Navigate Counseling Solutions! 💛

April brings a refreshing, down-to-earth approach to counseling. She’s especially passionate about working with neurodivergent adults and professionals navigating burnout, workplace challenges, identity, and the sometimes exhausting business of trying to meet everyone else’s expectations while staying true to yourself.

Her style is conversational, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves a little better. No cookie-cutter solutions. No pressure to become someone you’re not. Just a welcoming space to explore, connect the dots, recognize your strengths, and figure out what moving forward looks like for YOU.

We love adding therapists to our team who bring their own unique perspectives, personalities, and passions to the work we do. And we think she’s going to be a fantastic fit!

🌿 April is NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS for ONLINE counseling!

If you’ve been looking for a counselor who understands neurodivergence, burnout, or the challenges of navigating life authentically, April might be exactly who you’ve been looking for. And with convenient virtual appointments, you can connect with her from wherever you’re most comfortable.

Join us in giving her a big Navigate welcome! 💛

There’s something beautiful about the way nature makes room for what’s next.

Trees don’t hold onto their leaves just because they spent all spring and summer growing them. When the season changes, they let go.

As humans, we aren’t nearly as good at that.

It’s easy to hold on to old hurts, expectations, relationships, and even versions of ourselves that no longer fit the lives we’re living. Sometimes because they’re familiar. Sometimes because we’re afraid of what comes next.

And sometimes because letting go means grieving something we once loved.

But there’s a difference between honoring what something meant to us and believing we have to carry it forever.

Maybe this season is an invitation to consider what you’ve been holding on to, and whether it’s time to loosen your grip. 🍂

“I should be fine. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”

I hear some version of those words in my office almost every week.

So many people walk through our doors believing they should be handling life better than they are. They have good lives, people they love, responsibilities to meet. And somewhere along the way, they decided that struggling meant they were doing something wrong.

But being grateful for your life doesn’t mean you can’t be overwhelmed by it.

You can love your people and still be exhausted. You can have a beautiful life and still have terribly hard days. And you can be the person everyone leans on and still need someone to lean on yourself.

Today is World Mental Health Day, and here’s what I hope you’ll remember:

You don’t have to reach the point of exhaustion before you “earn” rest. You don’t have to justify needing help because someone else has it harder.

You were never meant to hold this alone.

If today or this week, this season feels particularly heavy, reach out. We’re here when you’re ready. And if you’re in crisis, call or text 988 anytime. 🤍

The seasons change whether we’re ready for them or not.And sometimes, life does the same. There are seasons where everything feels like it’s moving forward, and seasons where it feels like you’re standing still. Seasons of growth, uncertainty, grief, rebuilding, waiting, and becoming. Just because someone else is in a different season doesn’t mean you’re behind. Give yourself permission to be where you are-and trust that where you are now doesn’t have to be where you stay forever. 🍂
Hope, change, and healing.

Happy first day of Fall! Though it is still quite hot here in Texas, the change of the season reminds us that life is full of seasons. We go through seasons in our own lives. Seasons of growth, seasons of waiting, seasons of joy, seasons of grief, seasons of uncertainty, and seasons that simply ask us to slow down. So as the season shifts from the brutal Texas Summer to a more merciful Autumn, reflect on any possible seasons you may be in or may be transitioning out of.
