Dovie L. Woods of Little Rock, AR, was born July 9, 1953, to Willie Williams and Bessie Brewer. Both preceded her in death along with her siblings George May Scott, Willie Williams Jr. Theodis Williams Sr., Mary Horns and Levis Williams, a late husband Johnnie Woods and grandson, Robert Rockett.
Dovie was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Rocky Mountain Baptist Church of Little Rock, AR where Rev. Willie Williams her father was a long-time pastor. She graduated from Granite Mountain High School in Little Rock, AR. In spare time she enjoyed cooking, talking trash, cussing Anthony out, riding in the 18 Wheeler with Anthony, dancing and fishing.
Dovie departed this life July 19, 2026.
Dovie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and auntie. She loved to gather with family and friends and didn't bite her tongue to no one but would give you the shirt off her back and will cook you anything. She leaves to cherish her memories with her three sons: Robert Rockett, Anthony (Kristina) Rockett, and Demetrius (Angela) Woods; six grandchildren, Anthony Rockett Jr. (Taylor), Sierria Rockett, Allen Rockett, Bryson Rockett, Bailey Rockett, and Sarahniya Woods; four great grandchildren ALivia Rockett, Karter Gamble, Kaden Kinsey, and Rileagh' Jae Rockett; one sibling Linda Fay Williams-Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
