Have you ever wanted to try adaptive cycling?

Our next adaptive cycling ride is coming up at Belle Isle, and there is still time to sign up!

Adaptive cycling is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and connect with others in a supportive environment.

Equipment reservations must be made in advance, and the deadline for this ride has passed, but we have weekly rides throughout the summer. There are plenty more opportunities if you need to borrow equipment.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, now is the time to sign up.

Whether you’re an experienced rider or trying adaptive cycling for the first time, we’d love to have you join us.

Every athlete’s story begins with a first step. 💚

For many adaptive athletes, sport becomes much more than competition.

It becomes a source of confidence, community, purpose, and personal growth.

We are continually inspired by the individuals who challenge themselves, pursue new opportunities, and demonstrate what is possible through determination and support.

This week, we’re celebrating the athletes who continue to show up, work hard, and inspire those around them.

Keep moving forward. We’re cheering you on.

Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms reported by individuals living with neurological conditions, yet it's often misunderstood.

Neurological fatigue can affect physical performance, concentration, participation, and quality of life.

The good news is that strategies such as exercise, pacing, energy conservation, and proper recovery can often help manage symptoms.

If fatigue is limiting your daily activities, don't assume it's something you simply have to live with.

There may be ways to help.

"I'm afraid I'm going to fall."

It's one of the most common concerns we hear from individuals living with neurological conditions.

Fear of falling can change how people move, where they go, and what activities they choose to participate in.

But confidence can be rebuilt.
Through practice, repetition, education, and the right support, many individuals are able to improve not only their balance, but also their trust in their own abilities.

One of the greatest victories in rehabilitation isn't just moving better—it's feeling confident enough to move again.

Recovery is rarely a solo journey. đź’š

Behind every milestone are people who provide encouragement, support, and opportunities along the way.

Caregivers, family members, volunteers, coaches, community partners, and fellow participants all play an important role in helping individuals stay active and engaged.

We are grateful for the community that helps make movement, participation, and possibility a reality for so many people.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Balance isn’t something we think about until it becomes difficult.

The good news is that balance can often be improved through targeted practice, strengthening, and movement strategies.

If you’ve noticed changes in your balance, walking, or confidence with movement, don’t ignore them.

Early intervention can help prevent falls and support long-term independence.
