Meet our providers ❤️

Susan Bray, FNP-C, is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Athens Campus, and South University in Savannah, Georgia. She has been a nurse practitioner since 2017 and joined the IM-Peds primary care team in 2022. Although she initially planned to specialize in pediatrics, her first clinical rotation sparked a love for Internal Medicine. She feels fortunate to care for both pediatric and adult patients.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, Alan, and their large extended family. She is an avid African violet enthusiast and a member of the African Violet Society of Greater Atlanta. Susan and Alan also enjoy their backyard koi pond, with her favorite koi being an Ochiba.

Ximena Barnes, FNP-C, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered, and holistic care. Her special interests include pediatrics, women’s health, and mental health, with a focus on caring for the whole person and developing meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Outside of her professional role, Ximena enjoys spending time with her husband and their two beautiful daughters. She is actively involved in her church, where she serves in the marriage ministry and sings on the praise team. When she is not caring for patients or spending time with her family, Ximena enjoys the art of making sourdough bread and sharing it with those she loves.

Samantha Dupre, FNP-C, earned her Master’s degree from Georgia College in 2023. She has a special passion for primary care, especially caring for geriatric patients. She loves getting to know her patients and hearing the wonderful stories and life experiences they have to share.

Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys creating beautiful glass mosaic art, thrifting for unique vintage décor, and caring for her 10+ beloved pets. She brings compassion, creativity, and a genuine love for her patients to everything she does.

Dr. McKinley has been practicing medicine since 2002 and is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. A proud LSU alumna, she has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

In 2006, Dr. McKinley opened IM-Peds Primary Care, LLC, with a vision of creating a practice where patients and families feel heard, valued, and cared for.

Outside of medicine, Dr. McKinley is a proud mom of two wonderful girls. When she’s not caring for her patients, she enjoys traveling, relaxing, and spending time at home with her nine cats. Her passion for medicine, family, and life outside of the office helps bring a personal and caring touch to everything she does.
