When Jennifer’s two youngest children, 3-year-old Jace and 2-year-old Georgia, had seizures within a week from each other, she wanted answers.

That’s when she turned to Dr. Anna Bunker at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital. They were diagnosed as febrile seizures, which occur in children between 6 months to 5-years-old with fevers of 100.4 or higher.

These pinwheels remind us that everyone can help create happy, healthy childhoods for kids everywhere.

Atrium Health Levine Children's Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital teamed up with our community partners to plant a beautiful pinwheel garden for Child Abuse Prevention Month to remind us that recognizing signs of abuse, supporting families and speaking up early can help protect children and strengthen communities.

A big thank you to the St. Joseph's Catholic School choir for brightening the day with their wonderful singing. Community partners joining us included Bibb County Sheriff's Office and Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney, Anita R. Howard as well as the Macon-Bibb office of Georgia Department of Human Services and the office of Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr.
