If you experience unexplained fullness in one of your ears, balance troubles or muffled hearing, you may have what’s known as Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD).

A 2019 study published in the medical journal JAMA Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery estimates at least 4.6% of U.S. adults experience this condition. If you’re one of many who have these symptoms, schedule an appointment with our ENT experts to find relief.

Sinus infections can be acute (short-term, lasting 2–4 weeks) or chronic (persisting for 12 weeks or more). To keep comfortable at home, some use a warm, moist washcloth as a compress, a humidifier to moisten the air, plenty of water to stay hydrated, and sleeping with the head elevated.

If symptoms persist or keep returning, an ENT visit can help you figure out the cause and the best treatment path.

Even with treatment, nasal polyps (sinus tissue growths) can return. Research suggests recurrence in two-thirds of people within 10 years of treatment.

Pay attention to symptoms like frequent sneezing/runny nose, fullness in the nose, or nasal blockage, especially if they last more than 10 days. Dry air can also irritate your nose, so a humidifier may help, and nasal saline spray can help keep things clear. If your symptoms creep back up, schedule a visit with our ENT specialists so we can help!

Last night, our Advanced Practitioners Audrey Cabe, PA, Stephanie Martin, NP, and Steven Heath, NP had the pleasure of celebrating Dr. Matthew Jerles and his well-earned retirement.

It was a wonderful evening filled with gratitude, memories, and well-deserved recognition. To honor him, they presented him with this beautiful painting as a lasting tribute to his dedication and legacy.

Congratulations, Dr. Jerles, and thank you for your incredible contributions. Wishing you all the best in this next chapter.
