Due to the impending weather, Atrium Health Navicent is taking precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and patients.

Early closings and delayed openings

Atrium Health Navicent’s urgent care locations will close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
Urgent care locations, outpatient clinics, outpatient rehabilitation services and outpatient imaging centers will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025.
Atrium Health Navicent Wound Care Center will open at noon.
Surgeries and other procedures will also have a delayed start.

Additionally, we offer virtual care visits, allowing you to receive medical attention from the comfort of your home when you're feeling unwell.

After observing a steady decrease in respiratory virus cases, Atrium Health Navicent is lifting certain visitor restrictions and modifying masking policies.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, restrictions limiting visitors aged 12 and under will be removed. Also, masking will be optional in all Atrium Health facilities with the exception of specific areas where patients are at greater risk, such as Atrium Health Navicent Peyton Anderson Cancer Center and emergency rooms. Masks will remain available for anyone who chooses to wear one.

In a way, Breanna’s path as a teammate at Atrium Health Navicent has come full circle. When she was younger, Breanna had a family member suffer a stroke. Having seen how that can affect a patient and their family, she is able to put herself in the shoes of patients and caregivers. As a registered nurse at Atrium Health Navicent Rehabilitation Hospital, she helps stroke patients in their recovery.
“I do kind of find it full-circle, working here on a neuro unit,” Breanna says. “I feel like I can empathize, knowing what the family is going through.”
The other aspect of providing care to stroke patients for Breanna? Seeing them recover.
“To see them get up and walk out of here or see their progression with therapy and the physicians, that’s just tremendous to see,” Breanna adds.

You know the song lyric, “there’s no place like home for the holidays?” Jim Sauer is experiencing that first-hand thanks to Atrium Health Navicent teammates! After sustaining a workplace accident in September, Jim received care first at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, a Nationally Verified Level I Trauma Center, and later at Atrium Health Navicent Rehabilitation Hospital. Now, he has recovered enough to travel home to spend the holidays with his family in Kansas!

Atrium Health Navicent, like many health systems across the nation, has seen an increase in respiratory viruses, including COVID-19, flu and RSV. Due to this increase, Atrium Health Navicent will implement seasonal temporary visitor restrictions for children age 12 and younger starting on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7 a.m. Visit the following for more details.
