Some highlights from this week at The Gables at Wolf Creek. Exercise 3 times a week is high on our priority list. Residents enjoy working out to some fun tunes. We were graced this week by a recent Mercer University Graduate, Pianist and vocalist, Seth Watson. Seth, we appreciate you sharing your gift of music with us. We celebrated our Maintenance Man, Jerry Ricks for his birthday this week. Our evening bingo was a smash hit. Residents competed for prizes and we all munched on yummy appetizers. Today, Residents brought their doggies up so fellow residents could love on them. I'd say we had a pretty terrific week.

Great time of fellowship for our community men yesterday during the Mens Breakfast. Today we laughed while watching a Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis classic.

Our community took the time today to stop and honor the memory of our fallen service members. Thank you Ben Sandifer for sharing with us about one of our own local hero's, U.S. Marine Sgt. Rodney Davis who recieved the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroic sacrifice for his fellow Marines during the Vietnam war. All gave some and some gave all. Afterwards residents enjoyed one another's company during our monthly social.

Our field trip to Dickey Farms yesterday can be summed up in one word, scrumpdililious. Peach and strawberry ice cream put smiles on alot of faces.

Yummy hotcakes, sausage, fruit and eggs to order was the menu at this morning's men's breakfast. Good food and fellowship makes for a great Thursday.

Today we honored one of our own Ronelle Pratile Erhardt. Ronelle, thank you for your dedicated service over these past seven years as the Activity Director. You have loved our residents and gone above and beyond measure. Your fun-loving, kind, energetic, generous spirit has left a lasting impression on us all. We say thank you and we love you!
