🚑 ER or Pediatric Office? Here's a Quick Guide! 🩺

We know it can be hard to decide where your child should be seen. Choosing the right place helps your child get the care they need while keeping emergency rooms available for true emergencies.

💙 Call or visit our office for:
✅ Fever (if your child is otherwise alert and breathing comfortably)
✅ Ear pain or possible ear infections
✅ Sore throat
✅ Coughs, colds, and congestion
✅ Mild vomiting or diarrhea without signs of dehydration
✅ Rashes
✅ Pink eye
✅ Mild asthma symptoms that improve with medication
✅ Minor cuts or scrapes
✅ Urinary symptoms
✅ Follow-up care for injuries or illnesses

🚨 Go to the Emergency Room immediately for:
❗ Trouble breathing or severe wheezing that isn't improving
❗ Blue lips or face
❗ Seizures (especially a first-time seizure or lasting more than 5 minutes)
❗ Serious head injuries or loss of consciousness
❗ Severe allergic reactions with swelling or difficulty breathing
❗ Broken bones with obvious deformity or severe pain
❗ Heavy bleeding that won't stop
❗ Severe dehydration (no urination, very sleepy, unable to keep fluids down)
❗ Poisoning or suspected overdose
❗ Any condition that appears life-threatening
