If you’ve been following our Memorial Garden project we were able to finish it up today!

Our first garden stone is placed in memory of a wonderful woman, Cede Motschenbacher ❤️ not only was Cede the Administrator for several years, she was also a resident who we all adored caring for. God Bless the memory of Cede.

We also receive a columbine flower to add to our garden from Deanna Johnson’s perennial beds, Deanna was a long time staff member of the Memorial Home, a true master of the ins and outs of the facility and loved by all those she faithfully care for. God Bless the memory of Deanna ❤️

How it Started ➡️ How it’s Going

Welcome to the Memorial Home’s “Memorial Garden”!

Our dream is to have a beautiful space for residents, staff and/or visitors to be able to sit and reminisce of years past and share memories of wonderful people!

We are looking forward to our first stones and our mulch to arrive… stay tuned for more pictures!

Thankful for our staff (and volunteer Pat) who made sure everyone was safe during last night’s storm. What better way to hunker down through a tornado warning than with with an icecream party at 10pm in the chapel?! 😅 Thankful that everyone is safe, and that the weather didn’t turn out to be horrible in the end!

Notice: We are undertaking cement repair work adjacent to the handicapped parking spot near our main entrance. We are uncertain when it will be completed, so if you require the handicapped ramp and the work is not finished, please utilize the rear horseshoe entrance.

Family and Friends and anyone planning to attend the Maddock 125th celebration, please help spread the word!!

I have had individuals calling for the past 1.5 years in hopes of getting a guest room for the celebration. Fortunately/Unfortunately we have a higher census right now (great for us but, not so great for anyone hoping to snag a room), and we will NOT have any guest rooms availabe for that weekend. If you have any questions, please call Mya at 701-438-2641.

The BIO Girls in Maddock did their Community Service Project with us in Session 6, and we were glad to be able to serve them at their water break for their 5K as they headed into Session 12! 💗

The Memorial Home is having the BIO Girls 5K Water Station this morning! Come join us as we cheer on the girls! Race starts at 10am!
