Today we began our travel home.

We left Memphis at 8am. Made 2 stops and landed in AL (about 30 miles from FL) at about 5pm. It was our longest leg yet with the trailer. It was a long day.

Our camp ground is definitely a pit stop kind of place but it has full hookups which is really nice.

Tomorrow we start early and drive about 7 hrs home and our 26 day adventure is over.

It went fast. It was amazing. It will be good to be home. I miss my friends (our chosen family) and my bed.

Made it to Memphis. We got parked and set up in about 40 minutes. Pretty good.

Already checked out the bathroom/showers. Very nice. Air conditioned with your own stall.

Tomorrow we will head into Memphis and check out Graceland and all other things Elvis related.

Today was exploration day. We started the day late because it was pouring here.

Around noon we set out to head into Nashville. Checked out a few bars. We hit Jon Bon Jovis place. That place was really cool. 5 floors. We checked out another 3 or 4 after that. Looked at boots and got a new magnet and a sticker. It was a fun afternoon. We ended the day where we started at Jon Bon Jovis place to eat an early dinner. The food was really good.

Now we are home. Tomorrow we get up and head to Memphis.

Yesterday was another travel day.

We left KY around 1145a and headed to Nashville. Got here in about 4 hours, no stops necessary this time. Lexi was in love. She had her nose out the window for almost all 4 hours.

We got to our campsite around 3p, central time and got all parked and set up in just over 30 minutes.

We are staying at Elm Hill RV Resort. Its very nice. Its on a huge lake, we have concrete parking pads and nice big firepits. Definitely the nicest place we've stayed so far.

Tomorrow we will head into Nashville and check it out. Mike's never been to Nashville so it'll be a new experience for him.

Continuation of photos from todays adventure!

Today was an adventure day. We started early and headed out to Cumberland Gap National Forest/Park. What a beautiful park! Over 85 miles of hiking. We met a lady who started at 7am and had done 13.1 miles by 11am!!

We went to Tri-State park/peak (I cant remember what it was called). Here you could stand on the corner of Tenn, Virginia and KY. It was 1990 elevation and it was an amazing view.

We then headed further into the park to Pinnacle Outlook. This was an outlook that was at 2440 elevation and you could see Tenn, KY and Virgina. All the different mountain ranges could be seen there. It was beautiful.

We finished off the afternoon buying a magnet and getting lunch at the local Moe's.

We came back to the campsite. Mike did a little swimming and I did a little laundry. The campsite is empty which is really nice.

Our KOA is really nice. Well maintained and all pull thru sites with plenty of shade and deluxe porches with special dog play pens.

Tomorrow we work and Tuesday mid morning we pack up and head to Nashville.

Today was a travel day.

We headed from Knoxville to Corbin, KY.

It was a short drive. We made it to our campsite right at 1p. We set up in 30 minutes. It is so hot here. Hotter than FL but at least cooler at night.

Since we were all set up and ready before 2p. We decided to head over to cumberland falls. It was beautiful.

We then realized we were in a dry county so we head to head 2 miles down the road to the wet county. The dry county is so sad and poor looking ... hummm anyway, we got some booze, started a fire even tho its so hot 😀.

Now we will chill and get in bed early. We plan to get up early tmrw and head out to the Cumberland Gap and then spend the afternoon by the pool.
