Valley Children’s Healthcare – one of the largest pediatric healthcare networks in the nation – provides Central California’s only high-quality, comprehensive care exclusively for children, from before birth to young adulthood. Our independent, nonprofit network offers highly specialized medical and surgical services to treat conditions ranging from common to the most unusual and complex at our 358-bed children’s hospital as well as through partner hospitals, specialty care centers, satellite practices and primary care services. Our family-centered, pediatric services extend from a leading pediatric cancer and blood diseases center on the West Coast, and our pediatric heart center known for its expertise and pioneering treatments, to our Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the highest level referral center between Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Valley Children’s consistently ranks at the top of our peer group for quality patient outcomes, patient satisfaction and nursing excellence. Recognized as a Magnet® designated facility since 2004 and granted the gold-level Beacon Award for Excellence™ in critical care, Valley Children’s neonatal and pediatric intensive care units achieve some of the lowest mortality rates in the country while treating some of the sickest kids. News and World Report again named Valley Children’s one of the best children’s hospitals in the country in seven pediatric specialties. In affiliation with Stanford University School of Medicine, Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency and fellowship programs provide first-class training for the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric surgical and medical specialists. Live Más, Give Más 🌮🔔

We are excited to announce that our Fresno Truck Center Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program has received an $85,000 Community Grant from the Taco Bell Foundation! This grant will help fund health education, mental health and wellness services, peer-led learning opportunities and college scholarships for survivors as they transition into adulthood.

We are proud to announce that Valley Children’s has earned a Gold-Level Center of Excellence Award from the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO), an international recognition for programs that provide advanced life support to critically ill patients. This is the third consecutive time our Extracorporeal Life Support Program has received this honor since launching 10 years ago! Join us in congratulating the team in the comments below!

The first-ever Guts & Glory Walk was one to remember 💜👟

At the event, families, patients and staff came together to raise awareness about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and other gastrointestinal health conditions. Participants not only made meaningful connections, but also enjoyed music, games, prizes, face painting and informational booths featuring educational resources and nutritional products!
