It’s going to be extremely hot the rest of this week and into next week (as you’ve already noticed)! With temps like this the risk for heat related illness is high right now.

Some tips to avoid problems from the heat:
- Avoid going out in the hottest parts of the day
- Get any yard work or exercise done early in the day or later in the evening
- Hydrate well before, during, and after heat exposure. Drink lots of water!
- Take frequent breaks if you do have to go out in the heat

Seek medical care if you pass out, feel confused, have intense muscle cramps, have intense headache, or are worried you may have overdone it in the heat.

Stay safe out there!

If you need an OB-GYN, Dr. Brittany Martin is now accepting patients at The Woman’s Clinic. She happens to be married to our very own Dr. Clark Martin. We are excited to have her as a referral source for our patients!

We are so grateful for the support from around the city of Gluckstadt as we celebrate the expansion of our clinic! The new expansion includes 4 additional exam rooms, a procedure room, expanded laboratory space, and much needed work space for our staff. We are thankful for our patients that have supported the clinic for the last 6½ years and allowed us to grow so we can better serve this community! We have the best staff around and look forward to continuing to serving Gluckstadt and Madison for many more years!

Patrick is an excellent physical therapist! I have done PT with him 2 times now for my lower back. The first time was about 3 years ago. Prior to that I had several episodes per year where my back would spasm and it was hard to stand up straight. Since then I haven’t had a single reoccurrence of one of those bad days.

Patrick and the team at TherapySouth are the best!
