One yoga block can change the way your whole body moves. 🧘♀️
Placing a block under one knee creates a small asymmetry that can help you explore mobility through the hips, pelvis, hamstrings, and posterior chain.
Try it with:
• Cat-cow to encourage spinal and pelvic movement
• Child’s pose to explore hip and back mobility
• Knee drops to work on pelvic and sacral rotation
• A standing hamstring stretch and a trunk rotation to connect the hips, spine, and posterior chain
Why does this matter for pelvic health?
Improving mobility through the hips, pelvis, and trunk can help reduce unnecessary tension and improve how the pelvic floor coordinates with movement and breathing. This can be especially useful when working on back discomfort, constipation, or preparing the body for birth, where pelvic mobility and the ability to relax and lengthen are important.
Think less about forcing a stretch and more about creating space, movement, and connection
