We are thrilled to announce that David O. Francis, MD MS, has been elected as a member of the Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicum Amicitiae Sacrum (CORLAS)!

Founded in 1926, CORLAS is one of the world’s most exclusive and prestigious international scientific societies in the field of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Election into the society is a singular academic honor. Membership is strictly limited by national quotas—allowing only [10 for most countries / 20 for the United States] active clinical members per country at any given time—and is extended only to individuals who have made outstanding, internationally recognized contributions to ENT research and advancements.

Congratulations to those who are part of Speech Language Pathology on winning the Outstanding Service Award from ASHA! It was awarded to ASHA Members from UW Health & the School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The team was noted for providing accessible, high-quality, and a free continuing education program that reaches those not only in the U.S but is used internationally as well.
