NEW RECALL: 10,000 cases of tofu in 29 states are being recalled due to potential ink contamination.

Sold under the “hodo” brand as “CHILI CRISP LIGHTLY FRIED TOFU,” the recalled product was distributed in 29 states:

Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Consumers are urged to check their refrigerators and toss or return recalled products.

This tofu recall comes amid a wave of high-profile recalls, including beef, contact lens solution, IV saline injections, and more.
