🎉 I'm excited to share that I'm officially an AASECT Certified S*x Therapist!

This certification represents advanced education, supervised clinical experience, and specialized training in s*xual health, intimacy, and relationships.

Many people are surprised to learn that s*x therapy isn't just about s*x—it often includes communication, trust, anxiety, trauma, identity, and emotional connection. Because s*xual health is an important part of overall mental health, these conversations deserve a safe, knowledgeable, and judgment-free space.

Many couples spend years believing something is wrong with their relationship when they're actually struggling with very common experiences.

✨ Desire doesn't look the same for everyone.
✨ Good s*x doesn't have to be perfect to be satisfying.
✨ Communication alone won't fix every s*xual challenge.
✨ Stress often impacts intimacy more than couples realize.

Healthy s*xuality isn't about meeting someone else's standard. It's about understanding yourself, understanding your partner, and creating a relationship that works for both of you.

Which one of these do you think couples struggle with the most?

As promised, I'm back! I'm still talking about apologies, specifically what an apology is NOT. Next up: how the wrong apology can hurt relationships.

I'll be talking about apologies for the next few posts. Follow Four Pillars Counseling & Consulting for the next two posts on what an apology is not and how a bad apology can hurt relationships.
