Hi! Thank you so much for your consideration and for the opportunity to be part of this giveaway. My name is Amber, and I’m submitting this for my 4-year-old Quarter Horse mare, Acey. ❤️🐴

After my heart horse passed away about five years ago, life changed, and eventually I found myself stepping away from horses. Deep down, I always knew it wouldn’t be permanent. I just needed to wait for the right time and the right horse to come along.

Two summers ago, I came across Acey’s ad, and I immediately had a feeling about her. Long story short, I recruited my mom and her horse for a spontaneous eight-hour trip to Missouri. We rode Acey all afternoon in the pouring rain, and by the end of the day, we knew she was coming home with us! ☔🐎❤️

Did you know???

The equine body has approximately 700 muscles and 205 bones that control movement. The musculoskeletal system allows coordination such as spinning and running in the paddock, grazing and chewing in the field, pinning and rotating their ears, and swishing their tails at flies.

As a general rule, deep muscles and those close to joints are postural muscles responsible for supporting and stabilising joints. The muscles responsible for creating large, powerful movements are those further away from the joints. The massive superficial muscles of the hindquarters for example provide the propulsive forces necessary for locomotion.

By understanding how their muscles work is one of the most fundamental concepts that can influence how we prepare our horses for each season; whether it’s during their competitive season or not. And yes, it’s important to know that your horses genetics, nutrition and training all play an essential role with how they function.

This year has brought me an incredible amount of joy, determination and pride. I’m so thankful for my friends, family and clients that have been the most supportive throughout this rewarding journey.

We all have goals and dreams. And I’d say it’s an absolute privilege to be surrounded by like-minded individuals that only push you to become better. Both in your career and personal endeavors.

Today is set aside to honor and recognize the significance that horses bring to our nation. These magnificent animals, in general, contribute roughly $177 billion to the U.S. economy along with providing 2.2 million jobs throughout the country. Between working in the fields, moving livestock, cavalry, competition or recreation; horses are simply an American staple and a way of life for many individuals.

The way they build our confidence, but yet humble us; brings such an amazing experience and partnership that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Proverbs 21:31

Brrrrr, it’s cold out! 🥶❄️ A friendly reminder that continued “off-season” bodywork maintenance can be extremely beneficial for your equine partner more than you might realize.

Massage therapy in colder temperatures helps boost blood circulation, warms stiff muscles, reduces joint stiffness, and can help prevent injuries from slippery conditions or stable confinement. Keeping horses muscles supple and supporting their overall well-being is always important whether they are performing or not.

Let’s work together to help keep your horse(s) feeling their absolute best and conditioned this winter!
