Recently, we enacted tougher background checks through a national company and implemented drug screening for our Comfort Keepers to ensure a quality and safe experience. Over the past year, we have increased pay to our Comfort Keepers to ensure that the great ones stay with us and this also encourages great Comfort Keepers to apply for positions. Aside from a pay increase, we have established a Caregiver of the Month program to acknowledge the fantastic work of our Comfort Keepers. By placing value in our employees, it has created a better experience for the clients, as well as, the Comfort Keepers. Comfort Keepers can assist families and loved ones with companion/personal care, light meal prep/housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, respite care and 24/7 live in care.
