Congratulations to Whitney Persell our recent Bee Award winner at Norton King's Daughters' Health! 🎉 Whitney was nominated by a coworker in the Norton King's Daughters' Health emergency room. Her nominator shared:

"Whitney sat and talked to a patient, helped her change, go to the bathroom, gave her food, and helped get her calm and back to bed. Whitney stayed with the patient and helped keep the patient calm and happy. She went out of her way to help the patient and in turn helped her ER nurses."

Thank you, Whitney and congratulations! 🐝 🏆

Breaking ground on the future of emergency care in Jefferson County, Indiana! 🚑

Norton King’s Daughters’ Health has officially broken ground on a new, 10,000-square-foot EMS Transport Hub at our main campus in Madison. Scheduled to open in fall 2027, the new facility will support the EMS professionals who are there for our community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The $6.9 million project is funded through the Norton Healthcare Foundation, with generous support from Bethany Legacy Foundation, Jefferson County Council and the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County. Norton Healthcare has contributed $3.5 million toward the project, and fundraising continues for a new radio telecommunications system.

For nearly 38 years, our EMS team has been there when our neighbors need them most. This new hub is an investment in the people behind that lifesaving care and in the Madison community we’re proud to serve. ❤️
