🌎✨ BIG NEWS for psychiatric-mental health nursing!

ISPN is excited to officially welcome the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN) as our newest strategic partner! 🇺🇸🤝🇦🇺

Through our newly established Memorandum of Understanding, our organizations are strengthening an international connection built around a shared mission: advancing mental health nursing through education, collaboration, knowledge exchange, advocacy, and innovation.

And the timing couldn’t be better! 🔥 ACMHN is preparing to celebrate 50 years of mental health nursing at its 50th International Mental Health Nursing Conference, October 7–9, 2026 in Adelaide, Australia, under the powerful theme: “The Future is Now.”

Meanwhile, ISPN is already looking ahead to Asheville, North Carolina in 2027! 👀🌄

Different countries. One profession. A shared purpose. đź’š

This partnership creates exciting opportunities to learn from one another, expand our global community, elevate the voices of psychiatric and mental health nurses, and ultimately improve mental health outcomes worldwide.

The future of mental health nursing is global—and we are stronger together. 🌍💫

đź’ś August Reminder: You Matter. Your Work Matters. Our Community Matters.

Psychiatric nurses spend so much time holding space for others, offering hope, and showing up during some of life’s most difficult moments. This month, let’s remember that caring for ourselves and staying connected to one another are also essential parts of the work.

Pause. Reset. Protect your peace. Celebrate the small victories. Reach out to a colleague. And never underestimate the impact you make every single day.

At ISPN, we are more than a professional organization—we are a global community committed to learning, leading, supporting one another, and advancing psychiatric-mental health nursing worldwide.

đź’¬ What is one thing you are doing this month to care for your own mental well-being? Share below and encourage someone else who may need the reminder.

You are seen. You are appreciated. You belong at ISPN.
