I recently had the opportunity to attend the S4OM 2026 Oncology Massage and Esthetics Virtual Healing Summit. I gained valuable insights from leaders in the field.

Highlights included:
Exploring collaboration, sustainability, and advocacy in oncology massage.

Advancing knowledge in head and neck cancer care while building clinical confidence.

Deepening my understanding of the lymphatic system and strengthening clinical skills.

Rethinking traditional approaches to scar tissue and fibrosis

Continuing education in oncology massage remains incredibly important to me. Each experience leaves me feeling energized, enriched, and empowered to better support those in my care.

A small gift to each of my clients today..
and a reminder… stepping outside, breathing in fresh air, and taking a moment for yourself isn’t a luxury, it’s something your mind and body genuinely need. Earth Day is a great excuse to reconnect with that, but honestly, it matters just as much every other day too. A short walk, a stretch in the sun, even a few deep breaths outside can reset more than you think.

Meet Your Provider Monday: Upcoming Changes at Lilac Physical Therapy

Happy Monday to you!

Some changes are coming to LPT and current patients have already been notified, but I wanted to share publicly about those changes as well.

I have taken a full-time core faculty role in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program and will be starting in that role on August 1st!

While I will be continuing with clinical care, my available hours and flexibility will be going through a shift. In this early transition, I will be figuring out how to coordinate my teaching and clinical schedule and will therefore be doing sessions by appointment only and not doing online bookings for the time-being.

Once I have my feet under me a little more and know what my typical flow will be, I will re-open my online bookings. Until then, please contact me directly via phone (812-525-5230) or email ([email protected]) to arrange a time for your physical therapy needs.
