I usually have my clients use a file folder to track the prefixes and suffixes they have investigated, but I decided to try keeping them in Matrix Maker | Morphology Spelling Reading Vocabulary | App. And then decided to see how many we could use with a new base. It may not work as well if we had an extensive affix library, but it worked really well here! I’ll definitely be trying this again 💚🌲 Disclosure: I am thrilled to be a beta tester for Conifer, adding to the library that will be available for Conifer subscribers to study and learn from. My Conifer account status is not tied to anything I post on social media.

This is a re-enactment of my first time using Matrix Maker | Morphology Spelling Reading Vocabulary | App in a session. My client, a second grader, was motivated by Conifer and able to start using it right away. It also generated productive conversations around prefixes and suffixes along with a way to move them around *easily* and *quickly* that is not possible in any other format. Disclosure: I’m thrilled to be a Beta tester for Conifer. They do not pay me and my membership status is not related to anything I share on social media about Conifer. 💚🌲
