💙 Leadership Spotlight: Welcome Home, LaKisha! 💙

Valley View Health & Rehabilitation is proud to spotlight LaKisha, our Long-Term Care Unit Manager, whose healthcare journey is a true testament to dedication, growth, and compassionate leadership.

LaKisha began her career in healthcare in 2002 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Fueled by her passion for caring for others, she became a Medical Assistant in 2004 and later graduated nursing school as an LPN in 2014. She joined the Valley View family in 2015 as a cart nurse and quickly became a valued member of our team, serving in several critical roles, including rehabilitation cart nurse, COVID unit nurse during the pandemic, and Admissions Nurse.

After leaving Valley View to further her education and career, LaKisha earned her RN degree and gained valuable experience as a Postpartum Nurse at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. In 2026, she returned to Valley View as Unit Manager and now leads our Long-Term Care unit with compassion, accountability, and a deep commitment to resident care.

🎉💙 CNA Week is Almost Here at Valley View Health & Rehabilitation! 💙🎉

June 11–17, we’ll be celebrating the incredible CNAs who make a difference in the lives of our residents every single day!

From Twin Day and Neon Day to Field Day, BBQ, sweet treats, popcorn, and more, we have a fun-filled week planned to show our appreciation for the compassionate caregivers who are truly the heart of our facility. ❤️

A special highlight will be our CNA Field Day on June 12 from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM, featuring a dunking booth, cotton candy, slushies, vendors, food, games, and plenty of fun for our staff!

Thank you to all of our CNAs for your dedication, kindness, and commitment to providing exceptional care. We appreciate everything you do, and we can’t wait to celebrate you!
