We recently celebrated Lisa's birthday and it's hard to put into words just how thankful I am for her. 💚

To know Lisa is to love her. She has the biggest heart and a way of making everyone around her smile. She's always willing to step in and help wherever she's needed and I can always count on her.

Not only is Lisa an incredible part of our Journey team, but she's also a truly gifted massage therapist. She genuinely cares about every client she sees and it shows in the exceptional care she provides. Her compassion and dedication make a difference every single day.

As a business owner, having someone like Lisa on our team is such a blessing. Her loyalty is unmatched and her kindness never go unnoticed. I'm so grateful for everything she does and for the unwavering support she gives.

Doc and I had such a wonderful week away as a family! 🌊☀️ Spending time at the beach, making memories and getting to have my sister and brother-in-law visit from Arizona made it even more special. We are so thankful for the time together and the memories we created.

During our trip, Doc and I also had the opportunity to visit one of the small businesses behind some of the unique products we carry at Journey. We traveled to Apalachicola, Florida, to visit the sea sponge soap shop where we proudly source many of our products. We were able to meet the owner, Jerry, see the shop firsthand and learn more about the care and craftsmanship that goes into each item.

These products are as authentic as they come.

The natural sea sponges are harvested right here there in Florida and the handmade goat’s milk soaps are made with 100% essential oils and have a real sea sponge embedded right into the soap for gentle, natural exfoliation as you use it.

We also brought back freshly made body scrubs and authentic Tupelo Honey from the Ogeechee Tupelo tree blooms found only in the cypress swamps of Georgia and Florida. This rare honey has a sweet, buttery flavor, a beautiful slight greenish color and is certified authentic through pollen analysis.

One of our favorite things about Journey is being able to bring you products that have a story behind them products made with care, quality ingredients and a connection to the people who create them.

As a small husband-and-wife business ourselves, we love supporting other small husband-and-wife businesses who put their heart into what they do. Being able to meet the people behind the products and hear their story makes offering these items at Journey even more meaningful.

Having a small business often means long days, late nights, extra hours and your kids spending more time at work than most. It's a sacrifice many small business owners understand.

Today, we found our daughter fast asleep in one of our massage rooms. 😴💚

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Building a family business isn't always easy, but we're grateful for the opportunity to create something meaningful together. We hope she's learning that hard work, dedication, and serving others are worth it.

A few weeks ago during our Summer Journey Reset, our team spent the week recharging in a variety of ways. Through vacations, staycations, family visits and local adventures. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time away!

While we don't have photos from everyone, here's a glimpse of how some of our team spent their time:

☀️ Silvia and Brittney (massage therapist) enjoyed some relaxing beach time.

❤️ Lisa traveled to Wisconsin to visit family.

🎸 Doc and I took a trip to Graceland and Arkansas to spend time with family and built a porch for my Aunt & Uncle. Lordy, it was hot!!

🏔️ Samantha visited family in North Carolina.

💊 Seth spent the week working at his other job as a pharmacy technician.

🏡 Britney (chiropractic), Bella, and Denay enjoyed staycations.

🫐 Katie took a day trip to Boyd Farm and Botanical Gardens. She also enjoyed cooking with her daughter.

Time away to rest, reconnect and spend time with our families is so important. We're grateful for the opportunity to step back and recharge for a week each summer.

Our team has been back for a few weeks now, serving our amazing clients and patients with the care, attention and heart they deserve. Whether it was a staycation, a family visit, a beach trip, a day trip or simply some time to slow down, we're thankful everyone had the chance to reset and return refreshed.

What a blessing it is to do what we do and serve all of our Journey family each day!

💚 Happy 4-Year Journey Anniversary, Samantha! 💚

To know her is to love her. For four years, Samantha has been such a blessing to Journey. She is kind, positive and always willing to jump in wherever she's needed. She's the true definition of a team player.

She's also an incredible massage therapist who cares deeply about clients and the care she provides. And if you know Samantha, you know she's unintentionally one of the funniest people around and always keeps us smiling.

💚 Today is Isabella’s 4-year Journey anniversary 💚

Our story with Isabella began while she was still in massage school. The first time we met her was when Doc received a massage from her during student clinic. He knew right away she would be a wonderful addition to the Journey family. After graduation, she joined our team and it has been such a blessing to watch her grow over the last four years.

Isabella has continued to develop into an exceptional therapist and we've been honored to support her growth along the way. Through continuing education at Journey and hands-on training here, she has expanded her skills by adding modalities such as cupping and warm bamboo, allowing her to help even more clients find relief. She spends countless hours perfecting her craft and is currently diving into Thai massage training to further expand the ways she can help clients. Her caring heart and therapeutic approach have helped so many Journey clients reduce pain and improve mobility.

We've also had the joy of watching Isabella grow personally as she became a Mom. Her sweet little boy has become part of the Journey family too! He loves coming in for his weekly chiropractic appointments with Doc. Although, I like to tease him that he really comes to see me instead. Truthfully, we adore him and love getting to watch him grow up.

Isabella, thank you for the care you provide, the impact you make and the dedication you bring to Journey. We are so grateful for the past four years and look forward to many more.
