The Future Looks Bright!

A few people may get a laugh out of this, but I added Haxton to our staff page on the website today as our “Future Funeral Director.”

He’s not quite ready to answer the phone, meet with families, or drive the hearse just yet, but he does enjoy spending time at the funeral home and helping where he can.

When I bought the funeral home, one of my goals was to build something that would be here for a long time. Seeing my kids grow up around the business and the families we serve means a lot to me.

Who knows what the future holds, but it’s pretty special to think that one day the next generation might be carrying on the tradition.

For now, I guess I’ll let him stick to greeting visitors and supervising from a distance. 😄
