When people ask me what I hope to achieve with my podcast, I sum it up in one sentence: “To help people live a full, optimistic, vibrant, happy life—reducing suffering and developing resilience so they can say, unequivocally, ‘I’m here.’

I’ve spent 33 years hosting my nationally syndicated public radio show, Zorba Paster On Your Health, and it’s been an incredible journey sparking thoughtful, eng

aging conversations about health and wellness—without the clutter, chatter, or noise. With more than 45 years as a family physician, my experience as one of the lead physicians caring for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, my ongoing work mentoring medical students and residents at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, and my humanitarian medical work with Tibetan refugees, I’ve gained a unique perspective on modern health care. I strive to blend the science of Western medicine with the balance of holistic, integrative approaches to healing.

This is the best chocolate chip cookie that I’ve ever made. It’s a New York Times recipe, which I will copy at a later date.

I brought the cookie here so you can notice a few things. It makes this so good.

First off on the top of the cookie is some sea salt,

Next the bottom with the cookie should be brown, but not too dark.

Now notice in the middle of the cookie there are three distinct layers.

The top layer is dry has a bit of crunch - the middle of the cookie has more air pockets in it, which makes it creamier in taste and texture.

The bottom which goes onto the cookie sheet is a third texture, which is closer to the top texture but it’s even more tense with a different taste because it’s baked hotter as it is on the cookie sheet then in the air of the oven.

One important part of this recipe, which I’ll share in the future Update update is that the cookie taste better if you mix all the dough three days before and refrigerate it that is an important part of making the best cookies of your life

If anyone wants to come in on this first part of the recipe, please do so I love reading the comments

I’ll taste this at lunch. Kale drink. Ummmmmm. Uh huh. At the Elkhart Farmers Market.
