One frequently asked question we receive is: "Why am I still testing positive when I haven’t been using?" Many factors can contribute to a positive drug test. To ensure a negative result during drug testing, the best course of action is to avoid illegal substances.

Fun fact! 🧪 Not all drug tests work the same way. Urine, hair, and saliva testing each have their own differences, and there's actually a lot more to them than you might think!

An initial screening result and a confirmed result aren’t always the same. If a screening test shows a non-negative result, we may need to do additional testing using a more precise method to confirm the presence of a substance. This follow-up testing will require contacting the donor to provide proof of any prescriptions. Plus, there are specific review and reporting procedures we follow in regulated workplace programs to ensure everything runs smoothly.
