Inner Realms: An Arts for All Wisconsin Benefit Exhibition is a group show featuring Wisconsin artists GG, Peter “Pita” Daniels, Fred Seger, Paulina Ivanova, Ryan “Da Da Da Da” Cain, Zelda Bean and Alan “Alwilt” Wiltgen, all of whom seek to explore and bring awareness to mental health through their respective works.

The Carnelian Art Gallery (221 King St. Suite 102) is hosting this exhibition until Sunday, September 27th. A portion of the sales will benefit our partner organization Arts for All Wisconsin.

"We are deeply honored to partner with this exhibition,” says Jamie Mulry, NAMI Dane County Executive Director. “Art is a powerful and vital tool for healing, offering a voice to experiences that can be hard to put into words. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project, and we look forward to providing resources, connecting with people, and supporting our community at the event."

Each year we gather our team captains, sponsors, staff, and key volunteers together to kick off the *official* start of Walk Season.

This year's event at Blackhawk Country Club, Madison WI was incredible! We were joined by honored speakers Sheriff Kalvin Barrett, Dr. Michael Peterson from the UW Department of Psychiatry, and Leigh Mills from WMTV 15 News, who is our Honorary Walk Chair.

We also got a chance to share all of the great NO COST programs that support and educate our community - only made possible by the funds raised by NAMIWalks.

Thank you to all those who joined us and we look forward to seeing you all on October 3rd at Warner Park!

Labor Day and mental health are deeply connected through the shared concept of rest as a fundamental human right.

While Labor Day historically celebrates the economic and social achievements of workers, the modern workforce faces an epidemic of burnout, chronic stress, and blurred boundaries between work and life.

Labor Day serves as a vital annual reminder that physical and mental well-being are essential parts of labor sustainability. True worker appreciation means recognizing that rest is not a reward you earn after burning out, but a necessity required to function safely, creatively, and healthily in everyday life.
