The project, "Reducing treatment toxicity for fibrotic lung disease," is in collaboration with PI Seungpyo Hong, PhD, professor, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, and commercialization partner, Quadragenics. Beyond their demanding curriculum, medical students at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health can explore electives that reflect their interests and passions—like the new course giving a better understanding of fi****ms and preparation to talk with patients about injury prevention.

The course was developed through a collaboration between Siobhan Wilson, MD, PhD, clinical associate professor, Division of General Internal Medicine; and James Bigham, MD, MPH, clinical professor, UW - Department of Family Medicine and Community Health; and many academic and community partners.
