One of the best ways to stay informed about the future of health care is to listen to the people helping shape it. We appreciated the opportunity to hear from Senator Rachael Cabral-Guevara, chair of Wisconsin's Senate Health Committee, about recent accomplishments, current health policy priorities and emerging issues facing patients and providers.

As conversations continue around healthcare, it's important that clinical research remains part of the discussion. Clinical trials help bring new treatments to patients and strengthen the future of health care for all.

While AI is not a substitute for the expertise of clinicians and research professionals, it may become an important tool for addressing one of the biggest challenges in clinical research: connecting the right patients with the right studies at the right time.

The AI platform is embedded into electronic health records to help match cancer patients with clinical trials.
