Thanks so much to Wisconsin State Senator Melissa Ratcliff for meeting with Night Owl Support Systems co-founder Chris Patterson to discuss how technology and Remote Support can help people with intellectual disabilities live more independently and access the support they need!

I had the opportunity to meet with Chris Patterson of Night Owl Support Systems to learn more about how technology and Remote Support can help people with intellectual disabilities live more independently and access the support they need.

We had a thoughtful conversation about the work being done here in Wisconsin, some of the barriers that can make it harder to use Remote Support, and approaches other states are taking to expand the use of technology.

Listening to Wisconsin businesses, advocates, families, and service providers helps us better understand where there are opportunities to improve our systems and make sure Wisconsin continues to support people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
