Well they say Christmas Eve Day or tomorrow 24th will be the 2nd warmest in 150 yrs. Only the year 1889 was warmer at 60 degrees. We will break the highest low though.

Well it has been awhile. Even though not posting here as often, have been busy with many Genealogy items.

In late January submitted my application/portfolio for the Board of Certified Genealogists (BCG). Still waiting for results.

Meanwhile busy at times with my local genealogy organization duties.

Lastly, my client work continues alongside these other activities.

Today, I was back at the Wisconsin Historical Society doing archival review of a Wisconsin county's civil/criminal cases for the period of 1860s to about 1890. The cases have not been indexed, so it was reviewing nine boxes of the original documents, dust and all. Below is a picture of one of the boxes. Oh the smell and feel of 160 year-old writings.
