Another unforgettable experience at the Women in Healthcare Leadership Conference at the Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center in Pewaukee! ✨
The event was a grand success with a social purse Bingo night, a professional clothes drive for the UWM Career Closet, and a Gala event where we learned from powerful and inspiring guest speakers on multiple topics. Future Healthcare Executives (FHE) at UWM members were particularly impressed by sessions like Women in Leadership: A Safe, Interactive Introspective with guest speaker C. Ann Jordan; 9 Ways to Catapult your People Leaders from Good to Great Speaker with amazing Carmen Wolf; Finding My Possible on topic with adventures and brave Tarra Gundrum; The Challenges Women Face in their Careers with inspiring speakers Sandy Fragale Dr. Janice Litza, MD, FAAFP, Karen Turner, Dr. Christina Orr. Last but not least, “The Developing Leaders Who Grow a Winning Culture” session with motivational speaker Steve Jones was epic and a great way to wrap up the event.
Our members thank and express their gratitude to the HFMA Wisconsin Chapter for providing volunteering opportunities for our students and your support over the years. It’s been a pleasure to be part of this beautiful event!
We would also like to thank the contributions of Badger Bay Management Company, Eric Ostermann, Kwynn Carter, the event planner, Arthur Mertig from programs, and Jessica Vogen, the event chair.

Happy Mother’s Day to the amazing professor and program director who has been caring for her students throughout the years and made a huge impact in their lives. Kathleen Olewinski, FACHE You are not only a brilliant educator, but also a nurturing mentor and a role model for many. You have shown us how to balance work and family, how to overcome challenges and how to pursue our dreams. Thank you for your guidance, support and inspiration. You are truly a mother figure to us all. We appreciate you and we love you!

WHA Advocacy Day ‘23 was Epic!

ACHE-WI LDP Cohort had the opportunity to meet WHA President and CEO, Eric Borgerding and Vice President of External Affairs, Kari Hofer. It was a privilege to learn about the past development and newly formed legislation from Gov. Tony Evers, Gov. Jim Doyle, and Gov. Tommy G. Thompson. Enjoy assembly and senate visits.

We are proud to be surrounded by leaders who came across the state with one mission to fight for their community and improve the health system and the quality of care.
