If your child struggles with the transition from summer back to school, this is a great way to get some tips and tricks to start the year off right. If you hear cheeping at our nurse’s station today, you aren’t hallucinating. 😅 we have a shipment of ducklings we are babysitting today. Tasha and Morgan are keeping them warm in their box next to a space heater. Happy Friday!

With the extreme heat warnings we are having this week, we want to remind you that young children are especially vulnerable to heat. Please exercise common sense and caution - stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day if you can, stay well hydrated, and wear sunscreen when outdoors, and know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Stay safe Jefferson County!

Come see us and Caroline’s Corner at the Madison Pride Festival today at the Lanier Mansion from 12-5! We have a tshirt giveaway and Caitlyn has baked 100 rainbow cupcakes to raise money for Caroline’s Corner and the Trevor Project (a su***de prevention hotline for LGBTQ youth)!

We (and by that I mean Beth, our social media person) has been neglectful! We haven’t done an introduction on here of our providers. And they are awesome! So starting today, we will have a weekly provider highlight. First up is our amazing Nurse Practitioner, Morgan Liter. Morgan lives in Switzerland County with her husband and 2 young boys, and has been working in healthcare for many years. She is passionate about pediatrics and advocating for children, and she is wonderful with our patients and families.
Morgan is excited to welcome new patients to our practice, and to work with established patients as well. She works closely with all the providers in our practice to ensure that every patient is given the best possible care.

We are so glad to have you with us, Morgan!

Happy Juneteenth! Today we celebrate freedom for all and remember the day enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned of their emancipation, officially ending slavery in the United States.
