☀️ What a wonderful June at Hattie's Glen Madison! ☀️

June was packed with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments for our residents! We welcomed special guests from Henry Vilas Zoo, enjoyed beautiful live jazz music with pianist Bastian Berende, spent time outdoors soaking up the sunshine, and shared plenty of visits with furry friends.

Residents also stayed active with bocce ball, newspaper races, tic-tac-toe, chess, arts and crafts, puzzles, and many other engaging activities that brought our community together.

Every day is an opportunity to create new memories, and we're so grateful to our residents, families, volunteers, and staff for making June such a special month. We can't wait to see what July has in store!

🎓💙 Growing Our Knowledge, Strengthening Our Care 💙🎓

Today, the team at Hattie's Glen Madison completed our Trauma During Transitions Care Training, focused on understanding and supporting seniors through difficult life transitions with empathy, compassion, and dignity.

This valuable training helps our caregivers better recognize the emotional impact of major life changes and equips them with tools to provide person-centered, trauma-informed care every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team members for their commitment to continuous learning and excellence in resident care. Congratulations to everyone who completed the training! 👏🏆

A special thank you to all who participated and helped make the session a success. We look forward to bringing this important training to our teams in Waunakee and Middleton in the near future.

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day at Hattie’s Glen Madison! 💐💖

Residents enjoyed a beautiful performance from a talented harpist, followed by delicious ice cream sundaes and a lively round of Mother’s Day Bingo. It was an afternoon filled with music, laughter, sweet treats, and great company.

We are so thankful for all of the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who make our community so special. 💕

We had a fiesta-filled afternoon at Hattie’s Glen Madison celebrating Cinco de Mayo! 🎉🌮

Residents enjoyed festive decorations, fun games, great company, and a delicious meal complete with tacos, Spanish rice, refried beans, corn, and churros. 🌈 Sombreros, maracas, and plenty of smiles made the day even more special!

It’s always wonderful seeing our residents come together to laugh, celebrate, and make memories. 💚
