Have you ever wondered what we’re looking at when we take images of the inside of your eye?
Our office uses Optomap® retinal imaging to capture a widefield image of the back of the eye.
Unlike a traditional photograph that captures a smaller area, Optomap is designed to provide a much wider view of the retina in a single image.
That means we can get a detailed look at the structures in the back of the eye and have a digital image to review and compare during future visits.
Technology like this allows us to take a closer look while keeping your eye exam comfortable and efficient.
It’s just one of the ways we combine advanced technology with personalized, hometown eye care. 💙
Have questions about the technology we use during your exam? Give us a call or send us a text, we're always happy to explain!
