Have you ever wondered what we’re looking at when we take images of the inside of your eye?

Our office uses Optomap® retinal imaging to capture a widefield image of the back of the eye.

Unlike a traditional photograph that captures a smaller area, Optomap is designed to provide a much wider view of the retina in a single image.

That means we can get a detailed look at the structures in the back of the eye and have a digital image to review and compare during future visits.

Technology like this allows us to take a closer look while keeping your eye exam comfortable and efficient.

It’s just one of the ways we combine advanced technology with personalized, hometown eye care. 💙

Have questions about the technology we use during your exam? Give us a call or send us a text, we're always happy to explain!

A great pair of sunglasses does more than complete your outfit.

Quality sunglasses help reduce glare, provide UV protection, and make spending time outdoors much more comfortable, whether you're driving, watching the kids play ball, or enjoying a day at the lake.

If you're investing in sunglasses, make sure they're working just as hard as they look good.

Do you wear sunglasses every day or just on sunny days? Tell us below!

The back-to-school checklist is getting shorter!

As you're checking off supplies, clothes, and backpacks, don't forget to schedule your child's annual eye exam if it's still on your list.

During your child's orientation or back to school paperwork, they may ask for an updated eye exam!

📲 Call or text us to reserve your spot before the school year begins!

Have you noticed that driving at night isn't quite as easy as it used to be?

Maybe oncoming headlights seem brighter, road signs are harder to read, or you find yourself avoiding driving after dark altogether.

While it's easy to assume it's "just part of getting older," changes in your night vision can happen for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's simply an outdated prescription, while other times it could be related to eye health changes that are worth having evaluated.

A comprehensive eye exam can help us determine what's causing the changes and make sure you're seeing as clearly and comfortably as possible.

If nighttime driving has become more challenging lately, we'd be happy to help.

Call or text our office to schedule an appointment.

Sometimes your glasses stop working for you long before you realize it.

Here are 3 common signs it may be time for an updated prescription:

1. You're squinting more often.

2. Headlights seem extra bright or blurry at night.

3. Your eyes feel tired by the end of the day.

Vision changes can happen gradually, so many people don't notice them right away.

If any of these sound familiar, it might be time for an eye exam. A small prescription change can make a big difference in how clearly and comfortably you see.

Call or text us anytime—we're happy to help.

Did you know there isn't just one type of contact lens?

The best contact lenses for you depend on much more than your prescription. We consider things like:

✔️ Your lifestyle and daily routine
✔️ How long you wear your contacts each day
✔️ If you have dry eyes or allergies
✔️ Whether you have astigmatism or other vision needs
✔️ Your comfort and eye health

Today's contact lens technology offers more options than ever before, and finding the right fit can make all the difference in how your lenses feel at the end of the day.

Our goal isn't just to help you see clearly—it's to help you wear contacts comfortably and confidently.

Whether you're trying contacts for the first time or you're ready to explore a different option, we're here to help you find the best solution for your eyes.
