My dream became a reality in early 2022 when I was given an opportunity to attend a 3 day Certified Passenger Safety Technician course followed by a community car seat fitting station event. I am nationally certified through Safe Kids Worldwide. My goal is to educate, inspire, and encourage proper child restraint use. Getting your car seat checked is more than a CPST looking at it and doing it for you. My goal is to ensure you are confident installing your seat and troubleshooting issues that may arise. We will also discuss best practice, state laws, types of seats and progression of seats. If we are unable to arrange a time to meet or you are not local to me, I can help connect you to another CPST or fitting station in your area! I work as a speech language pathologist in both the medical and school setting. Being a CPST is something I do on the side for no charge so please be patient with me responding to messages/questions!
