JoyRide Center JoyRide Center is a PATH Intl. certified equine center offering therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, and life skills education. (formerly NARHA).

A place where volunteers and horses make the difference. Located on 10 beautiful wooded acres between Magnolia and Tomball, JoyRide Center uses a herd of very special therapy horses and dedicated volunteers to provide therapeutic riding,m and a day habilitation program for our clients. Our mission is to help people with different abilities find more Joy in life through equine-assisted activities a

nd therapies, along with functional/life skills education. Our vision: Believing in the unique abilities within all people, JoyRide Center strives to be a place where the impossible can become I'M POSSIBLE! Client ages range from 6 yrs olds to senior adults. Each client is part of a team which consists of the horse, instructor, and up to 3 volunteers who provide assistance by side walking or leading the horse. Our Therapeutic Riding Instructors are certified by PATH, Intl.

🐎 Meet Danny!

Danny is a chestnut palomino haflinger gelding that joined the JoyRide Center herd in 2023. A fluffy, funny guy with a mind of his own, Danny is curious and loves to investigate, especially if you happen to have any snacks on you! 💜

Everyone at JoyRide has enjoyed watching him grow and learn since his arrival as he happily plays with his herd mates while his magnificent hair flows in the wind. 🐎

Danny is just as excited as the rest of his herd for riding to begin again! We're getting so close!

Isabel Abercrombie and scouts from Troop 1920 of Klein, Texas, selected JoyRide Center for her Eagle Scout service project. She proposed to build 3 scratching posts, 1 for each pasture as well as a xylophone sensory station for our riding trail! 💜❤

🦅 The Eagle Scout service project is the capstone requirement for Scouting America’s highest rank. While a Life Scout, the candidate must plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a project that helps a religious institution, school, or the community—and that benefits an organization other than Scouting itself.

Being an Eagle Scout himself, Joyride’s own Facility Manager Travis Cain helped coordinate and execute these great additions to our facilities and we couldn't be more proud and grateful for this outstading show of community! 🐎🤝

Meet Canyon! 🐴

💜 Canyon is a handsome dun American Quarter Horse who was foaled in April 2012. He joined the JoyRide Center herd in June 2026. As one of our newer herd members, Canyon is happily settling into his new home and has been fully embraced by the JoyRide family. ❤

Canyon is excited to bond with everyone as the new semester approaches and he gets the opportunity to show his success as a therapy horse for all of our clients. Our instructors and volunteers have worked closely with him to ensure that he is ready to bring joy to everyone who visits us! 🐎🤝
