🎒🏈🎺💃 Around here, “busy season” is basically… all year long! 😄

Between games, meets, concerts, and competitions, our local kids are BUSY - and we wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤

We’re here to make sure their bodies can keep up with their schedules. 💪 Because when kids feel good, they perform better — in the classroom, on the field, and on the stage.

Give us a call or email us at [email protected] to get scheduled—we’ve got your family covered!

🌿 ACUPUNCTURE: WHAT'S THE POINT? 😉 We get this question a lot!

Acupuncture is an ancient component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses very thin needles at specific points on the body.

Many people seek acupuncture as part of their approach to managing things like muscle tension, stress, and discomfort—and some simply enjoy how relaxed they feel afterward.

🍂 HELLO, FALL! 🍂

There’s something about September in Central Illinois that makes us want to get outside, breathe in that crisp air, and enjoy every last bit of summer before the leaves really start showing off.

But as schedules get busier—yard work, school, sports, work, activities, and everything in between—your body can start feeling the effects, too.

A few simple reminders:
✔️ Keep moving
✔️ Stay hydrated
✔️ Take breaks from sitting
✔️ Stretch before and after physical activity
✔️ Don’t ignore those little aches and pains

Your body does a lot for you. Give it a little attention along the way! ❤️

What’s your favorite thing about fall in Central Illinois?

🎶 Not all athletes wear cleats… Some carry instruments, spin flags, and put their heart and soul into every beat. 🧡💙

Wishing the Marching Bulldogs safe travels and much success as they take to the field tomorrow for their first competition of the season!

❤️💙 Happy Labor Day from Walk Chiropractic & Acupuncture!

Here’s to everyone putting in the work—at home, on the field, in classrooms, farms, businesses, and everywhere in between.

We hope your weekend includes good food, good company, and a little extra time to enjoy summer before fall arrives.

Tell us something good: what’s been the BEST part of your summer?

By this time of year, the garden is producing like crazy…which means you're probably doing a whole lot of bending, lifting, carrying, pulling, digging - and questioning why you planted so much zucchini in the first place. 😂

Before you turn your next gardening session into an accidental full-body workout, remember: 🧑‍🌾 Lift like you mean it!
• Keep what you're lifting close to your body
• Bend your knees instead of repeatedly rounding your back
• Avoid twisting while carrying
• Break heavy loads into smaller, more manageable loads
• Take a few stretch or walking breaks

Take care of yourself so you can keep enjoying the things you love—whether that's gardening, hiking, biking, or just hauling one more basket of tomatoes into the kitchen.

🌻 Happy gardening from Walk Chiropractic!

🎶🎉 We’re feeling incredibly grateful after another amazing Mahomet Music Festival Parade! ❤️🎶

For nearly 15 consecutive years, Walk Chiropractic has had the privilege of being part of this wonderful Mahomet tradition, and it’s something we truly look forward to every year. There’s just something special about seeing familiar faces, waving to our patients and friends, and celebrating the incredible community we’re lucky to be a part of!

A HUGE thank-you to our parade crew who helped make this year another success! 🙌 Dr. Walk’s parents jumped in to drive their vehicle, and Dr. Walk’s little ones had the important job of tossing out our “golf ball” stress balls to the crowd! ⛳️😄

Thank you to everyone who came out, waved, smiled, and helped make the parade so fun. We’re so thankful to be part of the Mahomet community!

💙 From our family to yours, thank you, Mahomet! 🎶🎉
