📉 Yet providers are struggling just to sustain services after a decade of 32% inflation.
The need is growing. Community services must be there when families need them.

The rainy weather did not stop NIPD/NJ's Emerson, Garfield 2, Maywood, and New Milford residences from coming together to celebrate the holiday weekend.

Our Emerson Residence hosted a BBQ an all enjoyed the time outside as well as inside they got to spend with one another!

The team and people we support at our New Milford Residence took part in the celebrating and fundraising recently with the help of the New Jersey Devils!

Before Charles moved into an NIPD/NJ residence in the Spring of 2024, he worked tirelessly for many years at the Morristown Parking Authority. Looking to settle into retirement, Charles was looking for a quiet life with an activity that would still keep him busy and able to socialize with those in his community.

The NIPD/NJ Prevocational team was able to help Charles secure just that. Charles now enjoys his days volunteering at the Maywood Public library, quietly helping out with the catalog of book and interacting with the people in his community.

NIPD/NJ's Emerson's Residents are getting into the holiday spirit! The ladies were able to decorate the house and put up the Christmas tree as well as attend the Emerson Tree Lighting!

Recently our Maywood and Garfield Group Homes got together to celebrate a very special lady's 58th birthday!! The groups enjoyed spending time together, painting, and of course the birthday cake! Happy Birthday Kimberly!!

NIPD/NJ celebrated it's annual staff appreciate day at the end of October. This important day each year recognizes all of the hard work our staff do each and every day with the people we support! This year's theme was through the decades and staff enjoyed time spent with one another and a day filled with prizes, games, and food! Staff also took the theme to heart this year and dressed for the decade of their choosing!
In short, Thank you for all you do!!
Special Congrats to all those celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years!!!!!

The people we support, their families, staff members and their families, all came together recently on September 27th for NIPD/NJ's annual family picnic! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather, food, music and each other's company!
