One of the most confusing things parents experience is watching a child who clearly understands everything around them struggle to put thoughts into words.

We hear this often. And it is one of the most important things to address early.

Understanding language and expressing language are two completely different skills in the brain. Many children with expressive delays are incredibly bright. They just need the right kind of support to bridge that gap and facilitate communication that aligns with their unique strengths.
