Last week, we kicked off our first Lilac Nursing Leadership Academy with our inaugural group of nurse leaders.

We created the Academy to give emerging nursing leaders the opportunity to build the skills they’ll actually use in leadership: communication, emotional intelligence, regulatory readiness, delegation, clinical operations, and managing the day-to-day challenges that come with leading a team.

Our first session included a lot of discussion, some laughs, and plenty of participation. It was a great start to what will be a five-month program, and we’re looking forward to watching this group put what they learn into practice.

A pretty exciting first for The Lilac Health Group!

The 2026 annual road trip begins! National Skilled Nursing Care Week is a very special week for us. It’s a moment to just say thank you!

We have 25 facilities to visit —our staff, our community, our patients, and our families all deserve to know how much we appreciate them.
