Sorry, the content has been a bit erratic today I was supposed to have a scan at the doctors and it turned out that they put me for the scan that I'd already had.
So, hopefully they get it right the next time, it just kind of put my mind in a different headspace if you can understand that.
Anyway, tomorrow is another day after all.

The Hawthorn

Do you have a favourite tree ?

The Hawthorn is The "Triad" of Fairy Trees
In Celtic lore, hawthorn belongs to a sacred triad along with Oak and Ash.

Because of its distinct life cycle across the changing seasons, the hawthorn represents the Triple Goddess in modern Pagan and Celtic traditions,

The Maiden,
The explosion of delicate white blossoms in May.
The Mother,The heavy, nourishing crimson berries (haws) that ripen in autumn to feed wildlife.
The Crone ,The stark, twisted, protective thorns left bare during winter.

I utilise this amazing tree in my practice in many areas but one of my favourite is the protective qualities and the thorns are perfect for a more baneful workings .

Work with the land you are on , get to know the land spirits, listen to them learn from them .

I have a huge lone hawthorn which is the edge of my property I tend it with love and respect because it was taught to me that harming one was thought to invite misfortune.

The berries are used for many different purposes I actually make garlands for protection with mine.

RUTILATED QUARTZ
