🇺🇦 🇺🇸
As I write this, I’m preparing for my day — resuming my usual routine. Life goes on here. In Ukraine, the strikes are still ongoing. I hold both of those realities at once, and I refuse to let one erase the other.
➡️ Last night, Russia launched one of its most coordinated assaults against Ukraine. Intermediate-range ballistic missiles. Missiles loaded with cluster munitions. Mass drone swarms. All of it aimed at densely populated cities — Kyiv, and communities across the country.
In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the body of a 3-year-old boy from beneath the rubble of a four-story apartment building destroyed by a Russian strike.
🚨 This was not a military target operation. This was terror. Deliberate, calculated terror against civilians.
A war crime — full stop.
🙏🏽 I am thinking of the families affected by yet another needless tragedy, and of the first responders who are already working through the devastation.
I just returned from my 7th humanitarian trip to Ukraine — most recently May 2026, covering Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv. But my trips also included Kherson and Przemyśl, Poland, where I witnessed the first wave of displaced Ukrainians. I am not a government official, hold no political office, and have no organizational affiliation. I am one person — who first went in 2022 because I couldn’t look away, and have kept going back because the need never stopped.
🗣️ Every time I come home, the questions start. “Is it really that bad?” “What’s actually going on over there?” “I heard that…” Buried in those questions — often — is disinformation people don’t even realize they’ve absorbed. I correct the record. And without fail, the conversation shifts. People want to understand. People want to help. They just didn’t have the truth in front of them.
📲That is exactly why I keep posting. Not for likes. Not for engagement. Because real lives are being lost.
Two things I ask everyone to remember:
🔹 If Russia stops fighting, the war ends. If Ukraine stops fighting, there is no Ukraine.
🔹 Ukraine needs more than prayers and condemnation. It needs policy. It needs sustained support to survive — and to win.
📞 Here is the single most impactful thing you can do right now: If you live in the United States, the EU, or any allied nation — call, write, and tag your elected representatives. Urge them to strengthen air defense and sustain support for Ukraine. One phone call carries more weight than you think. A flood of them changes policy.
⚠️ Bots and trolls: don’t bother.
🌻 If you stand with Ukraine — please drop a comment below. Real human engagement helps this post reach people the algorithm would otherwise bury. Share it if you’re willing. Every act of solidarity matters.
