A few months ago, I left my job.
And it’s made me realize how much of our identity can become tied to what we do.

I mean, I knew it was a part of it. I was afraid of how I would answer it. But I still don’t have a good answer.

Somehow “retired” doesn’t feel right. And I understand this is an aspiration for many , but it’s just not feeling right for me at this moment in time. At the same time, I’m not ready to do something else… Something else in addition to all the other things that I’m currently doing that is, lol.

So I’m thinking maybe we just need a rebrand on this question? Wouldn’t it just be so nice if people could ask something more general, like “tell me about yourself”??

This is why it matters.
All the choices - food, sleep, hydration, supplements, connections, etc.
THIS IS WHY WE DO IT.
Because I want to do these things with my kids, and in the future with my grandkids.

The choices we make matter.
Choose wisely. ❤️💪

Sometimes they need me, sometimes they don’t.

When they do, it’s often for big things–and I’m here for all of it.
But in the in-between … things can get unclear.

They are growing into who they are meant to be.
And me?
I’m finding space to reconnect with parts of myself that have been waiting for this time 👋🏼.

Motherhood doesn’t end; it evolves.

Maybe we do, too??

Has this question ever stressed you out??

I always thought it was me.
But the other day, I was having a conversation with my dad who admitted… He was the same! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been extremely goal oriented.
I’ve always known what I wanted.

But there’s always been a time when one of those year increments stressed me out… Like, in five years, I sure would want XYZ, but is this realistic?

And I can honestly say, at this moment in time… I have absolutely no freaking idea what I want in one year, let alone three or five.

Tell me I’m not alone?
Or do you have everything planned out??
