Today is International Overdose Awareness Day, a day to honor lives lost and recommit to preventing future tragedies. In that spirit, Citizen Advocates is highlighting free, life-saving harm reduction supplies now available 24/7 through vending machines at two locations.

📍 Saranac Lake Outpatient Clinic, 70 Edgewood Rd
📍 Malone Behavioral Health Campus, 125 Finney Blvd

Each machine is stocked with Narcan kits, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, hygiene kits and menstrual products at no cost to you.

This effort is made possible through our partnerships with Alliance for Positive Health, Adirondack Health Institute's Rural Communities Opioid Response Program and the MATTERS Network. Together, we're removing barriers, reducing stigma and bringing resources directly to the people who need them. 💙

The Momentum Games have a champion—and it came down to the very last picnic. This week in Watertown, the final gathering of the summer wrapped up a season of food, connection and friendly competition across Citizen Advocates.

Watertown made the most of its home-field moment, delivering a valiant late effort at the August 24 finale. A combined score of 50 was enough to surge past Saranac Lake and claim the trophy. Saranac Lake finished a strong second at 44, followed by Malone at 40, Massena at 38 and Ogdensburg at 35.

Beyond the scoreboard, the picnics did what they were meant to do: bring employees together from across the Network, put coworkers from different departments on the same team and give everyone a reason to cheer each other on. Thank you to all who played, cheered and showed up throughout the season—and congratulations to Watertown on a well-earned win.
